I watch men on Saturday mornings drive into the parking lot at the
Charleston Women’s Medical Center in South Carolina.
I see man after man drop off women.
Some men do not get out of the car.
Some men will go inside for a few minutes
only to return and get into the car to drive away.
All the while knowing that he has left her in there to kill his baby.
I know I am assuming that he is the father.
But if he is not, he has still left her there alone to go through the hardest thing she will ever do.
Lay down on a table while a doctor kills her baby.
If you do not know how an abortion is done, please pause now and google the procedures.
And after you have read them,
see if you can figure out how a man could walk away
from a woman about to go through that!
It disturbs me to see these women abandon.
A man wants to have the baby killed to protect him from what?
What will this baby do to you? How will this baby change your life?
Of course as of yet, not one man has stopped to tell me why.
So I can only go on what I see.
I see men, walking away from what they have done.
I see men, who do not believe in life.
And I see cowards driving away.
I see men who abuse women.
Who hate babies.
I see men who have no problem knowing that a baby is dying
so he can have what he wants.
And I have no respect for them.
Do I believe that a man might have begged her not to have an abortion?
Of course I do. I am not naive.
I understand that some women will want an abortion
and the man will beg her not to.
In those cases I believe she might have a friend drive her
or he might refuse to drive her.
Which leaves me back to what I see each Saturday.
Men driving away.
Women left alone.
And an innocent baby dying.
